Reusy Pro and the free version
What is free, and what does Pro add?
The free version includes every feature and keeps up to 30 items. Reusy Pro removes that limit. Reading, searching, copying, exporting and deleting are never locked, with or without Pro.
Do items in the trash count toward the 30?
No. Only active items count. Moving an item to the trash frees its place right away.
Is Reusy Pro a subscription? Is there a free trial?
Reusy Pro is a one-time in-app purchase. It is not a subscription and never renews. There is no trial period: the free version itself is the way to try Reusy. The price is shown in the app before you buy.
What happens when I reach 30 items?
Everything you already saved stays available. To add a new item, unlock Reusy Pro or move items you no longer need to the trash. Nothing already saved is ever deleted because of the limit.
How do I restore Reusy Pro on a new device?
Sign in with the same Apple Account you bought Reusy Pro with, then open Settings → Help & Support → Restore Purchases. The Reusy Pro screen also has a Restore link.
How do I redeem an offer code?
Open Settings → Help & Support → Redeem Code and enter the code. The button is shown only while Pro is not active yet. If Pro does not unlock right away, wait a moment and tap Restore Purchases in the same place.
Sync and devices
Do I need iCloud?
No. iCloud sync is optional. Without iCloud, Reusy keeps your collection on this device and works fully. With iCloud, your collection syncs through your own private iCloud storage between the devices signed in to the same Apple Account.
My items do not sync between devices.
Sign in with the same Apple Account on each device and make sure iCloud is on (iPhone/iPad: Settings → your name → iCloud; Mac: System Settings → your name → iCloud). Open Settings → Collection & Devices in Reusy to see the iCloud status.
Which features are only on iPhone and iPad?
Saving from other apps through the share sheet, the Home Screen widget and the document scanner are available on iPhone and iPad only. On the Mac you can drag files into Reusy and open the quick search with a keyboard shortcut.
How do I open the quick search on the Mac?
Press Shift-Command-Space (⇧⌘Space) in any app. You can change the shortcut in Reusy's settings on the Mac.
Your items
How do I back up or move my collection?
Settings → Export Archive saves your collection, including original files, as one file. Restore Archive merges its items into your collection.
How do I delete my data?
Delete items in Reusy, or delete the app. To remove the iCloud copy, delete Reusy's data under Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage. We hold no copy of your items. Details: Privacy Policy.
